As per the official, the operation covered seven states- Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar.

The arrest of these gang members has helped prevent crimes such as contract killings and other serious offenses in Delhi and other states.

According to officials, it disclosed that some of these arrested persons also maintained connections through social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and other encrypted chat platforms. They previously committed crimes at the orders of Brar and Bishnoi.

Nine individuals were apprehended, with two each from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab, and one each from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, and Bihar.

The accused are identified as Jaspreet Singh, also known as Rahul; Dharmendra, also known as Kartik; Manjeet; Gurpal Singh; Manjeet Singh Guri; Abhay Soni; Sachin Kumar; Santosh, also known as Sultan Baba; and Santosh Kumar.

According to the police, these infamous gangsters Brar and Bishnoi were operating an interstate module from jail and overseas, respectively. They were highly active in Delhi, NCR, and other neighboring states, committing various offenses such as extortion, killings, and other heinous crimes.

How Did They Get Caught?

Deputy Commissioner of Police Special Cell, Prateeksha Godara disclosed “While monitoring the activities of this syndicate, some incriminatory conversation amongst the members of this syndicate sitting in different states came to notice through technical surveillance wherein they were conspiring to carry out some killing/heinous crime which was further corroborated by source input.”

It was further learnt that these gangsters had also procured weapons which included Seven pistols with 31 live cartridges.

Thus, to deal with their heinous activities, multiple teams were established and were dispatched to different locations in all the states.
