The Delhi Police revealed on Thursday that they had detained a minor for the murder of his employer’s disabled son. According to reports, the accused was employed as a domestic servant in Delhi’s Safdarjung neighbourhood.
Police claimed that technical monitoring was deployed to apprehend the suspect on Wednesday at a railway station.
According to a senior official, the murder was committed by the suspect in order to rob the house, and he was later discovered in possession of stolen goods, the reports confirmed.
According to the official, the incident was reported to police around 5 p.m. on Wednesday, and when a team arrived, they discovered the victim unconscious.
He was sent to a local hospital, where upon arrival he was declared dead.
The police said, “His sister reported to the police that their grandmother and parents had visited a temple. They left the house at around 2:30 pm.” She stated that when she returned from the market after visiting there, she discovered the front door was wide open.
She entered and found her brother unconscious, the suspect disappeared, the house vandalised, and the accused missing.
The police have registered a murder case.
