Jailed Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj are expected to meet at Tihar Jail on Wednesday afternoon, according to officials.

The Delhi chief minister, who was detained by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 21 in connection with a money laundering case, has not resigned, and the Aam Aadmi Party has stated that he will continue to lead the government while incarcerated.

Previously, on April 15, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP’s national general secretary Sandeep Pathak visited Kejriwal in Tihar Jail. Following the meeting, Pathak informed reporters that Kejriwal plans to meet two ministers weekly to review the progress of work in their respective departments.

After his arrest, Kejriwal communicated with his ministers regarding issues such as water supply and the availability of medicines in government hospitals. He also instructed party MLAs to visit their constituencies and assist the residents.

On Tuesday, Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court extended the judicial custody of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and BRS leader K Kavitha until May 7. Additionally, the custody of Chanpreet Singh in an Enforcement Directorate case related to the excise policy matter was also extended by the court.
