The Delhi High Court on Thursday conceded fourteen days interim bail to the removed BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar in the custodial death instance of an assault casualty’s father.
Before Monday, Kuldeep Singh Sengar was conceded interim bail, in the 2017 Unnao assault case, for his daughter’s wedding. Judge Dinesh Kumar Sharma granted him interval bail from January 27 to February 10, 2023.
His supplication was acknowledged on the payment of an individual bond of Rs one lakh and a guarantee bond where he has been coordinated to keep his live google area active and is approached to report before the Investigating Officials (IO) at Lucknow regular.
The High Court has likewise coordinated that look-out circulars (LOC) be opened during the time of the interim bail. He has been corresponded not to meet with casualties or witnesses.
Earlier, Sengar moved a plea through Advocate Kanhaiya Singhal and looked for an interim bail for his daughter’s wedding in February 2023.
His girl’s wedding is on 8 February and functions would begin in January 2023.
He was sentenced and granted lifelong confinement for assaulting a minor in Unnao in 2017. Sengar was sentenced and condemned to 10 years of detainment in the custodial demise case.
His appeal against the conviction and sentence is pending before the High Court. His plea seeking regular bail is also under consideration before the High Court.
