Every day more than 143 electric vehicles are being registered in Delhi to promote that, the Delhi Transport Department has decided to build 100 charging stations on the PPP model.

The Delhi government has decided to build 100 charging stations so that people do not face any problems in charging electric vehicles. For charging the vehicle, a charge of Rs 2 per unit will have to be paid.

Moreover, the government has asked the transport department to identify the land expeditiously and start work towards building a charging station. The work of making charging stations has been started by marking the land at some places.

However, the state government is also working to build charging stations at RWAs, petrol pumps, shopping malls, and other public places.

Furthermore, the government aims to build a total of 500 charging stations with PPP participation. The government says that the more charging stations we increase, the more people will be motivated to buy electric vehicles.
