Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi’s Chief Minister, has been released from Tihar Jail following the grant of interim bail in the Delhi excise policy case. He is temporarily free from custody until June 1, as per the decision of the Supreme Court. Kejriwal’s release comes after legal proceedings related to the excise policy case, highlighting the ongoing legal developments surrounding this matter.

On May 10, the Supreme Court of India approved Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s plea for interim bail in a money laundering case related to the excise policy. The bail is effective until June 1, after which Kejriwal must surrender by June 2 as directed by the apex court. The Enforcement Directorate had detained the AAP leader on March 21.
