Deadly Mistake: Murder Plan Fails and Leads to Unintended Deaths in Mumbai

The case involving the missing property dealers Aamir Khanzada and Sumit Jain has taken a dramatic turn with a series of unexpected events leading to their tragic deaths.

Initially, the disappearance of Aamir Khanzada and Sumit Jain, who were last seen on August 21, was linked to an abandoned car found near the Mumbai Pune Expressway. The car, a Baleno, contained bullet marks, two empty cartridges, and blood, raising suspicions about foul play.

The breakthrough came with the arrest of Vitthal Nakade, a friend of Sumit Jain, who was connected to the case. According to Navi Mumbai police officer Deepak Sakore, the investigation revealed that Sumit Jain, facing massive debts, had fraudulently taken possession of a plot of land. Aamir Khanzada, who was blackmailing him for a share, had become a target. Sumit Jain hired a contract killer to eliminate Aamir, planning the entire operation with Nakade.

However, the plot took an unexpected twist. Instead of finding Aamir Khanzada’s body, the police discovered Sumit Jain’s body. The investigation revealed that on the night of August 21, Sumit and Nakade had indeed planned to kill Aamir. They shot Aamir and disposed of his body, but a fight broke out between the two killers. Sumit Jain, attempting to fake his injury to avoid suspicion, ended up dying from excessive bleeding due to a lack of timely medical assistance. Nakade then disposed of both bodies—Aamir’s near Karnala Bird Sanctuary and Sumit’s on Pen-Khopoli Road.

The complex case highlights the tragic consequences of criminal schemes and the unexpected turns that can occur in the aftermath of such plans.
