During a public meeting in Vadodara on Sunday night, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani fainted due to low blood pressure. He was admitted to UN Mehta Hospital in Ahmedabad late Sunday night, where ECG, 2D, blood tests were reported, which were normal. An RT-PCR test for Covid-19 was done and it came back positive on Monday morning.

The CM is currently being treated at UN Mehta Hospital. His condition is stable and there is no cause for concern, according to the UN Mehta Hospital. Union Home Minister Amit Shah wished for Rupani’s health and quick recovery.

Talking about the health of the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said that he is currently in good health. Corona has been treated in a special ward and will remain in hospital for a week. The CM has no problem with diabetes or blood pressure.

The BJP’s parliamentary board met following the local body elections. Bhikhu Dalsania and Vinod Chavda, who were present with the chief minister at the meeting, have also been infected, following which all members of the parliamentary board will also be tested.

Earlier, CM Rupani had addressed a meeting in Vadodara on 14 February regarding the local body elections. In this election meeting, the Chief Minister fell on the stage, dizzy. The Chief Minister then adjourned the meeting. After that, the health of the Chief Minister improved.

Due to a busy election programme, the CM’s blood pressure is going low. He is addressing one election rally after another, which is likely to lead to low blood pressure due to fatigue and stress. A doctor at UN Mehta Hospital told the media that all the reports of Chief Minister Rupani have come back normal and he will be kept under observation for 24 hours. He felt dizzy due to fatigue and dehydration.
