According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the cyclone is expected to strike the area between the coasts of Bangladesh and adjacent West Bengal around midnight.
Earlier today, the
IMD warned of heavy rainfall, strong winds, and potential flooding in the areas likely to be impacted by Cyclone Remal. Authorities have urged residents to stay indoors and adhere to safety guidelines to avoid any accidents.
