The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 schedule was unveiled on Tuesday, with India and Pakistan set to face off in Dubai on February 23. The ninth edition of the tournament will kick off on February 19 in Karachi, and the final will be held on March 9 in either Lahore or Dubai.

The eight-team competition will consist of 15 matches, hosted across Pakistan and Dubai. In Pakistan, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi will serve as the three venues, with each hosting three group games. Lahore will also hold the second semi-final and the final, unless India qualify, in which case the final will be relocated to Dubai. Both semi-finals and the final will have reserve days.

India’s matches will take place in Dubai, including their group games against Bangladesh, Pakistan, and New Zealand. The group stage begins on February 19 with Pakistan facing New Zealand in Karachi. India’s first match will be against Bangladesh on February 20, followed by their high-profile encounter with Pakistan on February 23. India’s final group game will be against New Zealand on March 2.

The tournament will feature two groups: Group A, which includes Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh, and Group B, which features South Africa, Australia, Afghanistan, and England. The teams qualifying for the Champions Trophy are the top eight finishers from the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

  • 1 March: South Africa v England, Karachi
  • 2 March: New Zealand v India, Dubai
  • 4 March: Semi-final 1, Dubai
  • 5 March: Semi-final 2, Lahore
  • 9 March: Final, Lahore (unless India qualify, then Dubai)
  • 10 March: Reserve day

All matches will be day-night encounters.
