The Central Election Committee of the Congress met to discuss candidates for the 2018 Rajasthan assembly elections, which was presided over by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. The All India Congress Committee’s national headquarters in the capital served as the venue for the gathering.
The public would unquestionably support the Congress party in the polls set for November 25 in the state of north India, according to Kharge. The remaining candidates for Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh were also decided upon at the meeting of the Congress Central Election Committee (CEC).
Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, and other senior Congress figures like Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, CEC members, and members of the state screening committees. The first list for the Rajasthan elections has not yet been released by Congress. Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress, had stated on Tuesday that the party is expected to win the upcoming Assembly elections in five states.
