Former secretary of Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee and state president of Shivalik Vikas Manch Vijay Bansal marked Lala Lajpat Rai jayanti during his public relations campaign.
He visited Nanakpur village in the Pinjore block, listening to villagers’ concerns. Vijay Bansal emphasised the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra initiated by Rahul Gandhi, aimed at addressing social justice, raising awareness against unemployment and inflation, and opposing the current BJP’s NDA coalition government.
Bansal, accompanied by Sadru Khan, Tejbhan Gandhi, and Ajay Babbal, asserted that the future belongs to Congress, expressing dissatisfaction with the slogans of the present BJP coalition government. During the visit, local leaders welcomed Bansal, discussing the development undertaken during the previous Congress government.
Vijay Bansal highlighted issues raised by villagers, including the underutilization of the community health center constructed during the last Congress tenure in Nanakpur. He emphasized the lack of medical staff, with only one doctor serving instead of seven. Bansal also addressed concerns about the closure of science classes in the senior secondary school, forcing students to travel to distant schools for science education.
Taking action, Bansal personally engaged with the Education Department, urging the establishment of a class 12 examination center in Nanakpur Senior Secondary School. His efforts were successful, leading to the Education Department’s announcement to set up a class 12 examination center. The villagers expressed gratitude for Bansal’s dedication to addressing their concerns and improving educational facilities.
