The Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee will organize a silent satyagraha (protest) across the state on Wednesday in response to the recent attacks on the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. The silent protest will take place in front of Mahatma Gandhi’s statue in all district headquarters from 11 am to 2 pm.
Goverdhan Singh Dotasra, the President of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee, stated that the silent protest aims to express disapproval of the attacks on the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. The protest will be held in front of Mahatma Gandhi’s statue in the Gandhi Circle area on Jawaharlal Nehru Marg in Jaipur.
Swarnim Chaturvedi, the General Secretary and spokesperson of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee mentioned that the silent satyagraha will include the participation of Congress legislators, candidates, state Congress officials, and representatives of Panchayati Raj and urban bodies, along with prominent leaders and workers.
This protest is a part of the ongoing Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, a nationwide outreach campaign initiated by Rahul Gandhi to raise issues of inflation, unemployment, and other economic challenges faced by the common people.
