BJP State President CP Joshi held a press conference at the BJP headquarters regarding ERCP. During this, he said that the Congress has targeted the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP).
He said, “The promises made by the previous Congress government were remembered only during elections. They did not even make any plan to fulfil them. Even regarding ERCP, Congress only played politics. Only three districts get 525 MCM of water from the DPR. After understanding the water distribution between Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh governments, the proposal of this project will bring about a golden era and comprehensive development.”
He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav, and Central Water Resources Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat for this work.
During this, Cabinet Minister Kirodi Lal Meena, Water Resources Minister Suresh Singh Rawat, Health Engineering Minister Kanhaiyalal, along party officials were present.
CM Bhajan Lal has become Bhagirath: Kirodi
Agriculture Minister Dr Kirodi Lal Meena targeted the previous Congress government on the issue of the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP). Along with this, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma has been compared to Bhagirath. He said that with the new plan of ERCP, Rajasthan will get more water than before, and 90% of its money will be given by the Center. CM Bhajan Lal Sharma has come as Bhagirath through this plan.
