Coldplay fans who missed out on tickets for their first three concerts in India have another opportunity to see the band live. The British rock group has scheduled an additional concert on January 25, 2025, at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, as confirmed by promoter BookMyShow Live. The announcement has thrilled fans across the country.
How to Book Tickets
Tickets for the Ahmedabad show are now available. Fans can book through the BookMyShow website or app by navigating to the Coldplay: Music of the Spheres World Tour page. The booking started at 12 pm on November 16, 2024, and users are advised to log in early for a smoother process.
Before 12 pm, users enter a waiting room, and after 12 pm, they join a queue. Each user can book up to 4 tickets and has 4 minutes to finalize their selection and payment once on the seat layout page. To avoid restarting the process, fans should not refresh, navigate back, or close the page during booking.
A Historic Concert in Ahmedabad
The Narendra Modi Stadium concert is expected to host 1,00,000 fans, marking Coldplay’s biggest stadium show to date, according to BookMyShow. This additional show follows high demand for their Mumbai concerts on January 18, 19, and 21, 2025, at DY Patil Sports Stadium. Tickets for the Mumbai events sold out quickly, leaving many fans disappointed.
Controversy Over Ticket Black Marketing
The announcement of the Ahmedabad concert also comes in the wake of a controversy involving alleged black marketing of tickets for Coldplay’s shows and other events, such as those by Diljit Dosanjh. Tickets sold out within minutes on platforms like Zomato Live and were later found on unauthorized platforms at exorbitant prices. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is currently investigating these allegations of illegal ticket sales.
Don’t Miss Out
With Coldplay’s final India concert expected to be a historic event, fans are encouraged to book tickets as soon as possible to secure their spot for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
