While interacting with the media on Wednesday, Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasra responded to CM Bhajan Lal’s statement, saying, “The Chief Minister was asking me in the assembly which mill’s flour I eat, which has made four ARAs each. Ask the leaders who fight from Taranagar which mill’s flour they eat. Now, they want to take this discussion to another level, there is no need to say more on this right now. Let them investigate if there is anything. When I speak in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, I will answer every allegation of theirs. Their ears will stand up, they won’t be able to listen, and they will run away screaming.”
Dotasra said, “Wait for another 6 months, see what actions are taken. He has made personal allegations; he can continue doing so. When I speak in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, I will respond to every allegation of theirs. The public has already recognized them. Today, there is no one more powerful than the Chief Secretary.”
Dotasra said, “What are the BJP ministers doing, they have nothing to do. They are managing things by making adjustments. If anyone is considered powerful today, it is our Chief Secretary. The Chief Secretary conducts raids, and goes to offices; I don’t see any power in this.”
The PCC Chief added, “Yesterday, the Chief Minister was saying in the Assembly regarding the ERCP that 3510 AMC water has been received, while according to the MOU, 2400 AMC water will be received. This is a case of violation of the special rights of the Assembly. We will present a case of violation of special rights against the CM. The CM has misled the House with wrong information.”
He said, “In the ERCP, they cannot provide water for irrigation. They are here with the agenda of saving face and taking the funds of the ERCP. They had a problem with Vasundhara Raje’s plan; our government promoted that plan. Now they have spoiled that plan, causing damage to the interests of the state.

Congress launches ‘Save Democracy’ campaign in Jaipur

The Congress initiated the “Save Democracy” campaign on February 1. After the defeat in the assembly elections, the Congress is now actively preparing for the Lok Sabha elections. During this campaign, the Congress party will target the BJP. Along with this, efforts will be made to win all 25 Lok Sabha seats.
In this campaign, leaders and representatives from across the state, from state-level officials, MLAs, and candidates to district and booth-level workers, will formulate a plan and reach every village. Rallies and programs will be organized in every colony settlement, increasing contact with people, and providing information about the Congress party’s activities. They will explain the vision of the Congress.
The Congress wants to increase the number of its workers in every locality before the election campaign starts and raise the party flag in every street and neighbourhood. This program starting from February 1 can play a role in strengthening the party.
Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasra said, “The way governments are running at the country and state levels, and democracy is being murdered, the party will now hit the streets.”
