Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed praise for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inauguration of various projects in Ayodhya, stating that the wait of 500 years is coming to an end with the impending installation of Lord Ram in his grand temple on January 22. CM Yogi acknowledged PM Modi’s vision for establishing Ayodhya as the most beautiful city globally and highlighted the city’s enhanced road connectivity, including 4 lanes, 6 lanes, and 8 lanes, set to be inaugurated under PM Modi’s guidance.

During his visit to Ayodhya, PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth Rs 15,700 crore. This comprehensive initiative aligns intending to create modern, world-class infrastructure while preserving Ayodhya’s rich history and heritage. The projects include substantial investments for the overall development of Ayodhya and its surrounding areas, as well as contributions to other projects across Uttar Pradesh.

Among the inaugurated projects are the redeveloped Ayodhya Railway Station, new Amrit Bharat trains, and Vande Bharat trains, along with several other railway initiatives. PM Modi also laid the foundation stone for infrastructure projects, such as the Lucknow-Ayodhya section of NH-28, the modification of the existing Ayodhya bypass, the establishment of the CIPET centre, and the construction of offices for the Municipal Corporation of Ayodhya and Ayodhya Development Authority.

Moreover, PM Modi initiated the development and beautification of tourist facilities, including Naya Ghat to Laxman Ghat, the construction of a visitor gallery for events like Deepotsav, and the strengthening and renovation of the pilgrim path from Ram Ki Paidi to Raj Ghat and Raj Ghat to Ram Temple.

CM Yogi Adityanath emphasized the significance of PM Modi’s multiple visits to Ayodhya, making him the only Prime Minister to have visited the city the most times. The naming of the airport after Maharishi Valmiki was commended as a source of pride for India’s tradition. The grand reception accorded to PM Modi during his visit reflects the transformative spirit of the new Ayodhya and a new India.
