As the nation marked this significant occasion on October 8, Chief Minister Shinde, alongside political leaders and dignitaries, lauded the unwavering dedication of the IAF in ensuring the safety of the nation.
Chief Minister Shinde specifically praised the valor, patriotism, and bravery of IAF personnel, underlining their pivotal role in protecting India’s airspace. He remarked, “The sky stands as a symbol of courage and brilliance! On the Indian Air Force’s Foundation Day, we pay tribute to the courage, valor, and unwavering patriotism of our sky guardians.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended his heartfelt greetings to the air warriors, emphasizing the remarkable service and sacrifices they make to safeguard the nation’s skies. He reiterated India’s profound pride in the unparalleled courage, dedication, and commitment displayed by the Indian Air Force.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the valiant warriors of the Indian Air Force, highlighting their rich history of bravery and valor.
The Indian Air Force celebrated its 91st anniversary with a ceremonial parade at the Bamrauli Air Force Station in Prayagraj. Air Force Day commemorates the official inclusion of the IAF into India’s armed forces, a historic moment that took place on October 8, 1932. Additionally, Indian Air Force (IAF) Chief Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari arrived at the Bamrauli Air Force Station in Prayagraj to participate in the Air Force Day celebrations. The festivities commenced with a ceremonial parade at Bamrauli Air Force Station in Prayagraj.
