Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has been honored with the ‘Devdut’ (messenger of God) award in recognition of his support for distressed individuals during natural and man-made disasters. The announcement was made on Thursday by Ashok Rokade, founder and president of the Jeevanmukti Seva Sanstha and White Army Sanstha, marking the organization’s 24th foundation day. The award, including a shawl, Sriphal, and a memento, will be presented to Shinde on December 25 in Mumbai.
