Hailing the remarkable victory: CM Shinde’s perspective
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, on Monday, expressed his appreciation for the Mahayuti alliance, comprising Shiv Sena, the BJP, and the Ajit Pawar faction of the NCP, for achieving a remarkable victory in the gram panchayat polls. He attributed this success to the tireless efforts of his government.
In a subtle jab at his predecessor, Uddhav Thackeray, CM Shinde noted that the opposition had spent a year taunting and criticizing the government’s actions. He emphasized that the Mahayuti had secured a significantly larger number of seats than the Maha Vikas Aghadi. Furthermore, he confidently stated that the ruling alliance was poised to win 45 out of the 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra in the upcoming year’s polls.
