The 4th edition of the CII-Vedanta Hindustan Zinc Ltd Invitation Golf Cup will be held on 28 January at the Rambagh Golf Club. Army Commander, South Western Command; Addl DG-Police; General Manager North Western Railways, Senior Corporates, and Doctors will participate in the event.
Many women shall also participate in the tournament. India’s leading professional women golfer Ridhima Dilawari will also be playing, said Abhinav Banthia, Chairman, CII Rajasthan State Council.
Banthia further informed that the tournament will be played in Stableford Double Peoria format in various categories such as male, female, veteran etc. This Cup is an initiative to bring together sports and corporates and to push for a healthier and fit lifestyle. As a part of its CSR activity, CII and Vedanta Hindustan Zinc Ltd also distributed Steel Thermostat Insulated Tiffin and Insulated Water Bottles to all 150 caddies.
Captain of Rambagh Golf Club, Shriesh Sacheti expressing his delight at this association between CII and Rambagh Golf Club said that sports play a pivotal role in human development and are also the foundation for change.
