According to the Indian High Commission in Port Moresby, Indian Naval teams and locals practised yoga at the Port Moresby harbour in Papua New Guinea on Thursday.
The Papua New Guineans from the Active City Development Programme, NCD, joined the Indian sailors under the command of Captain Rajan Kapoor of the Indian Naval Ships (INS) Sahyadri. “Today, Papua New Guineans from the Active City Development Programme, NCD, joined Indian sailors from the INS Sahyadri, led by Capt. Rajan Kapoor, who did yoga in Port Moresby. Yoga for all people! Kutumbakam Vasudheiva. Enjoy the footage, please, the Indian High Commission tweeted.
“Yoga at Port Moresby harbour by Indian Naval Teams! Welcome PNGians who participated,” it added in a subsequent tweet.
INS Sahyadri (Frigate class) and INS Kolkata (Destroyer class) are on a goodwill visit to Papua New Guinea and will be docked at Port Moresby from August 2-4, the High Commission of India in Port Moresby said in a statement.
