Intelligence agencies have reported that China is helping the Pakistani intelligence agency, ISI, to smuggle weapons to terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. As per the latest IB report, ISI, with the help of China, is sending 200-300 Chinese-made rifles, Chinese bulletproof jackets and Chinese hand grenades via drones for terrorists in the Valley before snowfall begins.

The terrorists have reportedly not been able to receive arms and are facing a shortage of weapons, which is why China, along with Pakistan, is helping them by sending weapons. “The ISI sent arms to different areas of Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir through drones,” the report noted. In the report, the IB also alerted that the ISI has marked 10 to 15 places where arms will be dropped by drones.

Talking to The Daily Guardian, a senior official attached to the intelligence agency said, “Pakistan has been isolated on the terrorism front. Due to the vigilance of the Indian Army, police and intelligence agencies, Pakistan is unable to supply arms to the terrorists. The infiltration of terrorists has stopped to a large extent. Pakistan is now taking help from China to keep terrorism alive. China, that has an ulterior motive ‘to dominate in PoK,’ is helping Pakistan with every possible means. After the intelligence report, the Indian security agencies are fully alert along the Kashmir Valley, Punjab as well as the border so as to thwart any nefarious act of Pakistan and China.”

Many weapons recovered earlier from terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir were also manufactured in China. The drone technology for sending weapons across the border was also conveyed to Pakistan›s ISI on behalf of China. The arms recovered by security forces have been stamped by China. Chinese weapons were also found among the weapons sent by drones in Akhnoor, Hiranagar, Poonch and other areas of Jammu. Apart from this, Chinese-made weapons have also been recovered from terrorists killed in Kashmir.

Security forces have recovered 97 NSR rifles, made by the Noriko Company, which are generally used by Chinese soldiers. Two weeks ago, two suspects had been caught with these weapons. On 14 September, the Chinese-made rifles were also found with the terrorists who were killed in the infiltration in Gurez.

Terrorists have been unable to infiltrate from Pakistan due to the strong arrangements made by Indian security forces. The Army Chief and the BSF Chief also visited the LoC and the border of Jammu and Kashmir recently.
