Former Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana and four-time MLA from the Kalka constituency, Chandramohan, the elder son of thrice Chief Minister of Haryana, Late Bhajan Lal, has refuted all rumours regarding joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Chandramohan stated that those opposing him are spreading such rumours only to serve their personal interests. He affirmed that he will contest the upcoming assembly elections from the Panchkula constituency and is confident of securing a significant mandate from the public.
Additionally, Chandramohan mentioned that he has already completed all preparations for the upcoming assembly elections. He emphasized that public servants always find opportunities for public service in politics. This is evident from the fact that the people of Panchkula have repeatedly given him the chance to serve them with a record-breaking majority in adverse circumstances. He has been actively involved in opposition activities for the past 31 years, participating in various programs of the Congress party. He expressed concern that some individuals are spreading false rumors to create confusion and mislead the public about his potential entry into the BJP.
Chandramohan also revealed that there is a perception that those who were once vocal critics are now joining the BJP, and recent examples indicate that some Congress leaders have joined the BJP after spreading false rumors. He urged party workers to fulfill the dreams of the late CM Bhajan Lal and strengthen the Congress party.
Starting from February 15, Chandramohan plans to visit every village and sector to connect with the people. He highlighted that during his tenure, 90% of Haryana’s government offices were shifted to Panchkula with the aim of making it the capital of Haryana. He emphasized that the BJP is taking credit for his achievements and indulging in false propaganda. Chandramohan also stated that the BJP’s misrule has left the common people distressed, with rising inflation and significant changes in every sector, which will be reflected in the upcoming elections.
He believes that the Congress party will form the government with a clear majority.
Chandramohan’s close associate and former Chairman Vijay Bansal stated that Chandramohan is a leader of the 36 biradari (communities) and accused some individuals of spreading misleading propaganda for their personal gain. He asserted that Chandramohan is actively involved in the Congress party and has contributed significantly to the development of Panchkula district.
In conclusion, Chandramohan urged party workers to remain united and not be swayed by false rumours. He expressed confidence that the truth will prevail, and the people will continue to support the Congress party.
