The third edition of the Tricity Transporters Directory, a joint initiative by the Chandigarh Transport Association and Sampark Media Solutions, was unveiled today at a grand ceremony in Transport House, Sector 26, Chandigarh.

Punjab Assembly Speaker Sardar Kultar Singh Sandhwan, the Chief Guest, officiated the release of the updated handbook, which serves as a comprehensive guide for Tricity transporters. Notably, the directory, a prestigious project by the Chandigarh Transport Association and Sampark Media Solutions, not only features information about association members but also provides details about all transporters in the tricity.

The event was well-attended by registered members of the Chandigarh Transport Association. Chief Guest Sardar Kultar Singh Sandhwan expressed his satisfaction with the presence of fleet owners, emphasising the vital role of transporters in the country’s progress and comparing it to that of the armed forces. Girish Jain, Chief General Manager of IOC (Lubes), and Rajat Singh, Senior Manager at Eicher, also delivered addresses during the occasion.

The directory project received support from various entities, including Indian Oil (Lubes), the State Bank of India, the Central Bank of India, SML Isuzu, Canara Bank, the Bank of Maharashtra, Hindustan Petroleum, Globe Trucking, Ashok Leyland, Lube Tradeways, ES D Tire Care, and National Insurance.

The CTA Governing Body, led by Chairman KK Abrol, presented a memento and bouquet to Chief Guest Sardar Kultar Singh Sandhwan. General Secretary Naveen Sharma provided information about the Chandigarh Transport Association, and President Jasbir Singh Gill delivered the vote of thanks.

Rakesh Sharma and Bhagalal Yadav of Sampark Media Solutions expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their support in making the project a tremendous success and honoured corporates with mementos.
