Chandigarh Mahila Congress President, Deepa Dubey, has expressed her views on the recent developments in the political landscape, stating that the citizens of Chandigarh now understand the true nature of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). According to Dubey, the Supreme Court’s recent decision has revealed the reality of the BJP’s actions, metaphorically turning “milk into milk and water into water.”
She highlighted the Supreme Court’s order, emphasizing that it exposed BJP leaders engaged in what she referred to as “horse-trading politics.” The court ruled on the matter related to three Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councilors who had reportedly joined the BJP overnight. According to Dubey, this incident underscores the BJP’s alleged involvement in questionable political maneuvers.
Deepa Dubey praised the strength of the Indian Constitution, crafted by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, stating that it has been instrumental in exposing and preventing such actions.
She expressed concern that the BJP appears to be undermining the values and principles enshrined in the Constitution, emphasizing the need to protect the democratic foundations laid down by Ambedkar.
