In accordance with the authority granted by section 88(5) of the Motor Vehicle Act 1988, the Chandigarh Administration has released a draft proposal for a Reciprocal Transport Agreement between Union Territory Chandigarh and Uttarakhand State. The draft has been published in the extraordinary Gazette of Chandigarh Administration on January 30, 2024.
The purpose of this publication is to solicit objections and suggestions from all individuals likely to be affected by this proposal. The public is invited to submit their feedback within a 30-day period from the date of this notice. The objection/suggestion can be sent in writing or via email to the Office of the Secretary, Transport, Chandigarh Administration, 2nd Floor, Chandigarh Secretariat, Sector 9, Chandigarh. The designated email address is hs-chd@nic.in. The draft notification, numbered 2/7/74-H-III(7)-2024/1688 and dated January 30, 2024, is available for review on the official website of the transport department: chdctu.gov.in.
