Having captivated travelers in the Bahamas since its inaugural voyage in November 2018, Celebrity Edge is currently on a 12-night cruise from Dubai to Singapore. The ship is scheduled to grace the port of Cochin on November 18.
With 14 decks and a gross registered tonnage of 129,500, Celebrity Edge stands as a beacon of innovation in the world of cruise travel. Designed with meticulous attention, this 1,004-foot-long marvel redefines luxury at sea, accommodating up to 2,918 guests.
To mark its maiden call in Mumbai, Captain Matt Karandreas of Celebrity Edge participated in a plaque exchange ceremony with Rajiv Jalota, Chairman of the Mumbai Port Authority. This symbolic gesture solidifies the ship’s connection with the bustling metropolis, signaling the start of an unforgettable journey through the Asian seas.
Looking ahead, Celebrity Edge is set to embark on an exciting voyage from December 2023 to April 2024, offering 6 to 13-night sailings from Australia and New Zealand. Departing from the dynamic home port of Sydney, the ship will explore the scenic Kangaroo Island. The itinerary includes revisiting the awe-inspiring Great Barrier Reef, allowing guests a unique opportunity to spend a night on the reef. Overnight stays in Hobart, Tasmania, and Auckland, New Zealand, will showcase the breathtaking beauty of these destinations, making it a remarkable cruise experience.
