The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the class 12 board results on Friday in which girls outperform boys.
Girls outshined boys by 3.29 percent which overall pass percentage of girls is 94.54 percent while boys secured 91.25 percent.
Earlier in 2021, the overall pass percentage was 99.37 percent and this year the pass percentage is 92.71 percent.
A total of 1435366 students appeared for the board exams this year of which 1330662 have passed the exam.
Meanwhile, Thiruvananthapuram has recorded the highest pass percentage at 98.83 percent followed by Bengaluru with 98.16 percent, Chennai with 97.79 percent, and Delhi East and West with 96.29 percent. However, Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj has the lowest pass percentage at 83.71 percent.
Moreover, the board conducted exams this year held in two-term, that is Term 1 and Term 2. 30 percent and 70 percent weightage were given to Term 1 and Term 2.
Furthermore, the students can check their results on the official website, CBSE results.nic.in, results.CBSE.nic.in and can also check their result on DigiLocker or UMANG app.
Notably, the exams of Class 12 Board exams were held from April 26, 2022 to June 15, 2022.
