A Bengaluru family experienced a terrifying incident on Tuesday night when two men violently attacked their car during a road rage confrontation. The assault resulted in severe injuries to their five-year-old son, who was sitting in the backseat at the time.
According to reports, the father, Anoop, was driving home when the unidentified assailants, who were riding a motorcycle, stopped their vehicle multiple times, demanding that Anoop roll down the window. When he refused, the attackers smashed the rear window with a stone, leading to chaos inside the car. A video recorded from within the vehicle captures the panic as the child began to bleed, while Anoop can be heard shouting, “Mera bachcha tha udhar” (my child was there).

The brutal assault left the child with significant head injuries, requiring immediate medical attention. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he received three stitches and is currently under observation due to substantial blood loss. Anoop expressed his anguish, stating, “My son was severely injured and has been traumatized by the event.”
Anoop’s wife recounted the traumatic experience, emphasizing the fear their child endured during the attack. “We spent hours in the hospital. It has been traumatic both mentally and physically,” she said. The couple noted the brazen nature of the attack, occurring in a busy area, which only added to their shock and horror.
Following the incident, the family has lodged a complaint with the Parappana Agrahara police station. Authorities are now investigating the matter in hopes of identifying the assailants and preventing such incidents from happening in the future. The family is now left grappling with the emotional fallout from the violent encounter.
