The elder son of industrialist Yashovardhan Birla and Avanti Birla stole the headlines with his grand yet elegant wedding. He finally married Tejal Kulkarni in a very intimate wedding function on November 2, 2025, at the family home in Malabar Hill, which was then followed by a glittering reception at St. Regis, Lower Parel. The guest list included political leaders, celebrities and business tycoons.
Vedant Birla is 33 years and part of one of India’s most influential business families. Vedant is currently Chairman of the Board at Birla Precision Technologies, a flagship firm within the Yash Birla Group. Being modern in perspective towards leadership and with a sharp instinct for business, Vedant represents the next generation of the Birla legacy that aptly balances tradition with a forward looking approach.
Vedant did his early schooling at Campion School, Mumbai and then went on to do an International Baccalaureate from BD Somani International School. He did his Bachelor's in Accounting and Finance from HR College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. Later, he pursued a Master's in General Management from RBS College, United Kingdom, sharpening his global business perspective.

Vedant is the son of Yashovardhan (Yash) Birla, chairman of the Yash Birla Group and Avanti Birla. His father took over the family business at just 23 after the tragic passing of his parents and sister. She also possesses a Master's in Political Science and Government. She did a diploma course in film studies from Whistling Woods International. Indeed, Tejal is admired for her entrepreneurial vision and creative flair.
