Vadodara (Gujarat) [India], July 15: Navrachana University, through its Navrachana Innovation Foundation (NIF), has announced TetraTHON 2026, a 36-hour Indo-French AI innovation sprint to be held from 31 July to 2 August 2026 at the University’s Vadodara campus. Organized under the IndiaAI Mission, the hackathon will bring together nearly 250 participants across approximately 40 multidisciplinary teams from India and France. Students from ISEN Mediterranee, France, will participate online, creating an international platform for collaboration in artificial intelligence. The event is centered on the theme “AI for Inclusive Growth and Scalable Impact” and the tagline “From Code to Country-Scale Impact.”
TetraTHON 2026 will provide students, researchers, innovators, startup enthusiasts, and technology professionals with an opportunity to collaborate on AI-powered solutions for real-world challenges across HealthTech, FinTech, AgriTech, and EdTech. Participants will work on industry-defined problem statements and develop functional AI prototypes with guidance from academic mentors, industry experts, and technology professionals throughout the 36-hour innovation sprint.
The initiative aims to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and the development of AI solutions for real-world challenges. Selected teams will have the opportunity to receive mentorship and incubation support through the Navrachana Innovation Foundation (NIF), while promising innovations may be considered for further engagement through ecosystem partners including House of Starts, the Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP), Government of Gujarat, and the MSME Incubation Scheme, Government of India. The competition will offer a prize pool of ₹1.75 lakh, with awards for the winner, runner-up, and second runner-up. Outstanding participants may also be considered for internship opportunities with industry partners.
The program will begin with participant registration and screening, followed by the inauguration and unveiling of industry problem statements on 31 July 2026. Teams will participate in the 36-hour innovation sprint from 1 to 2 August, culminating in presentations before an expert jury. Winners will be announced during the valedictory and awards ceremony on 7 August 2026.
TetraTHON 2026 is mentored by Prof. Sandeep Vasant, Director of the Navrachana Innovation Foundation (NIF), Professor of Computer Science, and Registrar, Navrachana University. The organizing team includes Dr. Yogesh Chaudhari, Dr. Jaideepsinh Raulji, and Ms. Tosha Shukla, along with faculty members from ISEN Mediterranee, France. The event is being coordinated by Navrachana Innovation Foundation (NIF) in collaboration with Navrachana University’s student technical club Neofolks and the Centre for Interdisciplinary and Computational Sciences (CICS), with support from ecosystem partners including House of Starts, SSIP, and the MSME Incubation Scheme.
