Apple intends to release the long-awaited iPhone 17 series in September 2025, which will include the effective iPhone 17 Air. The series is expected to include important camera specifications, a sleek design, the superior A19 chip, and ProMotion displays. Although official pricing is unknown, rumors indicate that the iPhone 17 Air will be a high-end, yet marginally less costly model than the Pro series.

Release & Cost

The iPhone 17 series is anticipated to be released by Apple between September 11 and 13, 2025. The iPhone 17 Air and the iPhone 17 are expected to sell for Rs 89,900 and Rs 79,900, respectively, in India. This series accommodates a range of customer preferences by striking a balance between powerful performance and elegant design.

It is based on these prices that Apple makes the iPhone 17 Air a high-end model with a relatively affordable price tag compared to the Pro variants.

iPhone 17: Design and Build

With iPhone 17 Air, Apple pushes the boundaries on smartphone design-thinner than its predecessors at only 5.5mm to 6.25mm compared to the iPhone 6 thickness of 6.9mm. The gadget is expected to be made out of a titanium-aluminum frame for a very light yet hard build.

The standard iPhone 17 will be equally slim but a bit thicker than the Air variant. The anti-reflective coating has been improved for more scratch resistance and overall strength.

For the first time, all iPhone 17 series devices will use ProMotion 120Hz LTPO displays, which means scrolling will be smoother, responsive, and power-efficient. The 6.6-inch iPhone 17 Air will provide a view that truly puts the viewer inside the action.

iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air: Specifications

Both models will be powered by the latest A19 chip, which will bring faster performance and superior energy efficiency. Coupled with 8GB of RAM, these devices will handle multitasking and gaming with ease.

Apple is quite aggressive in its photography with the iPhone 17. The iPhone 17 Air could sport a single rear camera that is 48MP, set to capture crisp shots. A significant changes to the front camera is expected; a 24MP sensor should produce selfies with greater clarity and detail.

Even in times when the light is dim, and uncooperative, Apple’s AI-powered picture processing will enhance color and low-light accuracy to produce crisper, more clear-sighted images.
