The SemiconIndia 2023 Conference’s second day featured debates and discussions as India showed off its growing interest in the semiconductor sector. According to a press release from the Ministry of Electronics & IT, the three-day gathering, which was graced by the presence of Union Minister of State for Electronics & IT and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, provided a forum for business executives, academics, and government officials to plan India’s course toward a strong, vibrant, and competitive presence in the world semiconductor ecosystem.
Rajeev Chandrasekhar emphasized the significant advancements India has made while being led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a leader with great vision. He discussed India’s plans for the semiconductor industry and how quickly the country is developing this industry. Numerous sessions covering various facets of the semiconductor industry were featured at the conference, with a focus on Next-Gen Computing, semiconductor packaging, upcoming designs, and investment opportunities.
