The Indian startup named Bharat Agri’s business lessons received wholesome praise from famous industrialist Anand Mahindra.
The founder received praise, when he recounted the story of his best-selling product the mining torch. Reacting to Siddharth Dialani’s post, Anand Mahindra called an ‘object lesson in how entrepreneurial opportunities arise.’
He lauded the young businessman for attending to his customer’s needs.
It all started, when Bharat-co founder shared a post about how hands-free torches became a best-seller in their platform.
As per Dialani, his team noted the consecutive increase in torches sale on Bharat Agri. Despite torches not being an agricultural product, they were shocked by the surge in orders.
Later, he spoke to some farmers, and he got to know, that farmers utilize torches at night during power cuts.
Their team went one step ahead and asked, in what manner, they can help the farmers? In response, farmers suggested, that they want hands-free torch, so that they can utilize their both hands while farming.
Taking this feedback, BharatAgri introduced a ‘mining torch’, which can be strapped to the forehead.
As per Siddharth Dialani, the mining torch later became a top-selling product in their category. Their rechargeable mining torch stands at Rs.₹779.
Amazed by the story, Anand Mahindra lauded Siddharth Dialani for attending to his customers.
He further added, despite being in Agri business for many years, he didn’t know about this requirement.
Concluding his post, the seasoned industrialist said, that even though AI might learn consumer patterns, but the rules of business will always remain same.
