Banks Closed For Bakrid In June 2024? Check The Holiday Schedule

As per the Reserve Bank of India’s holiday schedule for 2024, most public and private commercial banks will be closed on Monday, June 17, in observance of Bakra Eid (Eid al-Adha). To minimize disruption, it is recommended to complete any urgent banking activities by June 14. Here’s a list of holidays for banks in June

Saturday, June 15th: Most banks will operate as it’s the 3rd Saturday of the month. However, Aizawl and Bhubaneswar may have closures due to local holidays.

Sunday, June 16th: Banks will remain closed as per their regular weekly closure schedule.

Monday, June 17th: Eid ul-Adha – All banks across the country will be closed.

Tuesday, June 18th: Additional Eid ul-Adha holiday for banks specifically in Jammu and Srinagar.

Eid-ul-Adha 2024 Date
