The Border Security Force (BSF) recovered another China-made Pakistani drone near the International Border in Punjab’s Ferozpur district early Tuesday while it was entering Indian territory with a packet of contraband.
The drone was seized around 7.45 a.m. in Rana Panj Grain village after a search operation was launched in the area based on specific information about the presence of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. According to the BSF, the recovered drone is a quadcopter (Model – DJI Matrice 300 RTK, made in China), which is tasked with guarding the 3,323-kilometer India-Pakistan border.
“A drone alongwith one packet of contraband suspected to be Heroin (gross weight approximately 2 Kg) was recovered from the farming field adjacent to Rana Panj Grain village,” the Border Security Force (BSF) said.
