On Monday, BS Yediyurappa, a senior BJP politician and former chief minister of Karnataka, delivered prayers at the Mahakaleshwar Temple in the Madhya Pradesh region of Ujjain.
Yediyurappa performed this act of worship inside the temple’s sanctum sanctorum for Lord Shiva, also known as Baba Mahakal. The temple committee also honored him by giving him a picture of Prasad and Baba Mahakal.
Yediyurappa told reporters after the worship that the G-20 Summit would be held in Delhi and that “important people from all over the world have come.” The world is praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision. Everyone has been to Rajghat, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi, and thanks to Modiji, this may now be possible. On behalf of the entire nation, I congratulate him.
Earlier, Goa’s Chief Minister, Pramod Sawant, participated in the Bhasma Aarti ceremony and offered prayers at the Mahakaleshwar Temple.
