Despite the Punjab Government’s repeated claims of creating 29,000 job opportunities in the past year, a closer examination of the details and a legislative inquiry has revealed glaring inconsistencies in the government’s assertions.
Cabinet Minister Aman Arora revealed 4,588 joining letters issued since March 16, 2022, with 4,358 for constable positions. The process was completed by January 8, 2022, but due to a code of conduct, the issuance was delayed.
This information raises serious concerns about the accuracy of the Punjab Government’s claims. If the data provided in the Vidhan Sabha by Cabinet Minister Aman Arora is accurate, it clearly indicates that the government has only provided a mere 230 jobs in one year, contrary to their grand claims of 29,000 job opportunities.
The government is called upon to clarify the significant discrepancy in job numbers and provide detailed information on the claimed 29,000 job placements. Responsibility should be taken if misleading information was provided by CM Bhagwant Mann or Minister Aman Arora. False statements made by Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann regarding question paper leaks must be addressed, as evidence contradicts their claims. The Punjab Youth Congress aims to inform the public about accurate job data and expose the misleading flexes. The government’s own data suggests that only 2 jobs were actually provided in one year ,said dhillon.
He added “If the government does not correct its figures displayed across Punjab, we will blacken the forged figures and put out the correct ones on our own.
For speaking out the truth, we will face all consequences irrespective of any pressure. Either govt should remove these flexes or we will be forced to put out the correct figures as per the reply in Vidhan sabha, “.
