A massive house collapse in the industrial area of Jahangirpuri in Delhi brought about a strong emergency response. The incident took place early this morning, and the sight of the mishap sent jitters as a structure gave way to trap several people under it. Timely action on the spot by the Delhi Fire Department ensured rescue of the persons trapped inside the collapse. Four of them are brought out and their condition is being assessed at a nearby hospital.
After just a few minutes, fire tenders arrived at the scene to clear the debris and carry out other rescue operations to find individuals who may have been trapped. A rescue operation is in full swing, with many heavy machines and emergency services working on the site to clear the debris.
