Breaking: IED Blast in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh Leaves Two CRPF Soldiers Injured

Dantewada Police reported an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion in the Barsoor police station area, injuring two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldiers. The blast occurred on the Barsur Palli route while soldiers from the 195th Battalion were engaged in removing a banner poster near a bridge.

“Dantewada Police confirmed the soldiers’ injuries, stating that they are currently receiving treatment and are out of danger,” authorities said, declining to provide further details at this time.

Previously, on November 27, suspected Naxals attacked construction sites in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district, torching 14 vehicles and machines. The incident, which occurred around 1.30 a.m. at the Bangali camp within the jurisdiction of the Bhansi police station, was confirmed by Additional Superintendent of Police RK Burman.

Thankfully, no casualties were reported during the arson attack. “The Naxals, about 25–30 in number, many disguised as villagers, set fire to four Hyvas, four pickups, a JCB earth-moving machine, a crane, a sifter truck, two water tankers, and a mixer vehicle,” detailed the police official.

Following the incident, the Naxals fled the scene, and the police arrived quickly, extinguishing the fire. As the situation develops, more information about the incidents will be released.
