Actor Vikram Gokhale passes away

Veteran actor of Hindi and Marathi movies Vikram Gokhale passed away in Pune on Saturday due to multiple organ failures. The age of the actor was 77.

Meanwhile, the condition of Veteran Bollywood actor Vikram Gokhale is still critical and he is on a life support system.

Earlier on Wednesday the death news of the actor surfaced on social media and taking to Twitter many Bollywood celebrities Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Aly Goni, and Jaaved Jaafery expressed condolences.

Talking to the media Vikram Gokhale’s daughter said, “He is still critical and on life support and has not passed yet. Keep praying for him.”

Veteran Bollywood actor Vikram Gokhale was undergoing treatment at Deenanth Mangeshkar Hospital and Dr. Dhananjay Kelkar who was doing treatment of the actor denied the rumors of the actor’s death. Dr. Dhananjay Kelkar said, “Not True.”

Moreover, no official statement has been released by the hospital and the family about his health condition yet.

However, at the age of 26 Gokhale made his movie debut in 1971 in Amitabh Bachchan’s starrer ‘Parwana’. In his 40 years of career Gokhale appeared in various Marathi and Bollywood films.

Earlier in 2010, Gokhale received the National Award for Best Actor for his Marathi movie ‘Anumati’ through which Gokhale also made his directorial debut.

Actor Gokhale has also worked in movies including ‘Mission Mangal’, ‘Hichki’, ‘Aiyaari’, ‘Bang Bang!’, ‘De Dana Dan’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, ‘Agneepath’, and ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’.

Furthermore, Gokhale was last seen in the movie ‘Nikamma’ alongside Shilpa Shetty and Abhimanyu Dassani which was released in June.
