Renowned songwriter and producer, Bram Inscore has passed away at the age of 41. He was infamous for his collaborations with Troye Siven. Inscore was reportedly battling with depression, Variety.

Throughout his illustrious career, Inscore made significant contributions to hit singles such as Sivan’s “Youth,” Andy Grammer’s “Don’t Give Up on Me,” and BTS’ “Louder Than Bombs.” His artistic footprint extended to collaborations with various artists, including Rina Sawayama, Hayley Kiyoko, Allie X, Duncan Laurence, and Mayer Hawthorne.

A statement from his family, wife, and friends reads, “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Bram Inscore, who ended his life after a hard-fought battle with depression.” Described as a ‘musician’s musician,’ Bram, a producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, generously shared his talents with artists like Beck, Troye Sivan, and BTS. He was known for his selflessness and dedication to the music, always putting the art ahead of his own ego. His work was infused with deep compassion and dry wit, characteristics that permeated everything he did.

The statement further emphasized, “He was truly a unique spirit, and though his soul has left his body, it will live forever in his music.”

Bram Inscore pursued his musical journey by attending USC, where he studied orchestral music and jazz. He later left college to embark on a touring career. In 2009, he released a solo album under the moniker B.R.A.M. Besides his collaborations with artists, he played a pivotal role in crafting the soundtrack for the 2018 film “Sierra Burgess Is a Loser,” working alongside Leland, Sivan, Allie X, and others.
