PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, situated on the IIT campus in Indore’s Simrol, received a bomb threat via email from an entity claiming to be Pakistan’s secret agency ISI. The threat warned of a bombing at the school on August 15.
After receiving the threat, the school’s security officer filed a complaint with the Simrol police station.
The IIT campus’s security procedures have been tightened, and only individuals with ID cards may now enter. Simrol police, working with a cyber unit, are looking into the email threat.
Following the bomb threat received at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya on the IIT campus, preparations are ongoing, including the deployment of the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad.
The local community, including parents and staff, has been contacted and advised to be calm while maintaining watchful. The administration reaffirmed that extensive procedures are in place to safeguard the school grounds and ensure the safety of all individualsĀ concerned.
