Sonam Kapoor is overjoyed as she and her husband Anand Ahuja celebrate their son Vayu’s second birthday. The family gathered in Mumbai on Monday to mark the occasion, and on Tuesday, Sonam shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, expressing her deep love and happiness as a mother. Vayu turned two on August 20.

‘Being Your Mom Is the Greatest Gift’

Sonam shared a sweet video of Vayu running with his back to the camera, accompanied by a loving caption. She wrote, “My baby turns two today!!! Happy 2nd birthday to our sweet, precious Vayu! Being your mom is the greatest gift I could ever receive. You’ve filled our lives with so much joy, laughter, and wonder.”

‘We Love You More Than Words Can Say’

In her heartfelt message, Sonam expressed how each day with Vayu feels like an adventure, filled with his endless curiosity, contagious laughter, and loving nature. She wrote, “You’ve brought so much light and happiness into our world, making every moment more beautiful and every relationship stronger.”

She also mentioned the impact Vayu has had on the entire family, saying, “You’ve deepened the love between your dadaa and me in ways we never imagined, and you’ve brought pure, unfiltered joy to everyone who loves you — your nani and nana, dadi and baba, kaaa masa, masi and chachu.” Sonam described Vayu as the family’s “sunshine,” “music,” and “little genius,” emphasizing how blessed they feel to have him in their lives.

Sonam concluded her touching tribute with, “Vayu, you are our sunshine, our music, our little genius, and our endless source of happiness. We love you more than words can say, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you will continue to bring into our lives.”

Sonam’s birthday post for Vayu garnered a lot of attention from her friends and fans. Filmmaker Farah Khan commented, “Happy birthday mommy.. you will turn two also as parents…” Malaika Arora, a reality TV star and former VJ, added, “Happy birthday to little Vayu…” Actor Neha Dhupia also wished Vayu happiness, while Amrita Arora, Bhumi Pednekar, and several other celebrities joined in sending their birthday wishes to the little one in the comments section of Sonam’s post.
