At a recent event in Mumbai, “Aashiqui 2” co-stars Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur bumped into each other, creating a heartwarming moment for fans. The two, who were holding umbrellas to avoid the rain, shared a brief interaction that ended with a warm hug, reminiscent of their iconic on-screen chemistry.

A video shared by a paparazzi account on Instagram quickly went viral. In the clip, Shraddha looked stunning in a black saree as she smiled for the cameras. Moments later, Aditya appeared behind her, and upon noticing him, Shraddha turned around, beaming with joy, before the two exchanged a hug. Fans flooded the comments with excitement, with one user saying, “The umbrella scene got repeated.”

Aashiqui 2’s Legacy

Shraddha and Aditya first gained widespread attention with the success of their 2013 musical drama “Aashiqui 2.” The film, which was a box-office hit, sparked rumors of the two dating, though they never publicly confirmed their relationship. The duo later starred together in the 2017 film “OK Jaanu,” another fan-favorite.

Upcoming Projects

On the work front, Aditya Roy Kapur is set to star in Metro… In Dino, a sequel to Life In A Metro. Directed by Anurag Basu, the film boasts an ensemble cast including Sara Ali Khan, Konkana Sen Sharma, and Pankaj Tripathi. Meanwhile, Shraddha Kapoor is enjoying the success of her recent release Stree 2, which has now grossed over ₹600 crore at the Indian box office, making it the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time.
