Watch: Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt’s ‘Rs. 250-Crore’ Mumbai Home Is Complete But Fans Aren’t Impressed

Actor couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s new home in Bandra, Mumbai, is finally completed. Numerous videos and images showcasing the building have surfaced on social media. Over the past few years, Alia, Ranbir, and his mother, actress Neetu Kapoor, have frequently visited the under-construction site, and their one-year-old daughter, Raha Kapoor, has also seen her new home.

Ranbir and Alia’s Dream Home Completed

A video shared by a paparazzo on Instagram reveals that the multi-storey building is nearly finished. This six-floor structure has been named after Ranbir’s late grandmother, Krishna Raj Kapoor. The exterior features a blend of grey and light blue, complemented by glass balconies and large windows.

Disappointment Among Fans

Despite its completion, many fans have expressed disappointment with the building’s appearance. One commenter remarked, “Come to Punjabi Bagh or Prithviraj Road in Delhi, this is not a bungalow; this is a builder floor.” Another person added, “Looks like office cabins,” while a fan commented, “Poor choice; it should have a garden, natural beauty.”

Lookalike Comparisons

Some fans compared the design to that of YouTuber Elvish Yadav’s house. Comments included, “I thought it was Elvish’s new house,” and “Woah. It looks so similar to Elvish’s house.”

A New Chapter for the Kapoor Family

Earlier this year, a report from Bollywood Life indicated that Ranbir would name the bungalow after their daughter, Raha, making her the “youngest and richest star kid” in Bollywood. The new bungalow reportedly cost Ranbir and his family ₹250 crore, making it the “most expensive” celebrity bungalow in Mumbai, surpassing Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat and Amitabh Bachchan’s Jalsa.

Speculation suggests that once the bungalow is ready, the entire Kapoor family, including Neetu Kapoor, will live together under one roof. Currently, Alia and Ranbir reside with Raha at Vastu.
