Varun Dhawan Joins LinkedIn, Showcases Journey as a ‘Passionate Actor with 300-Crore Mega Hits’

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan officially joined LinkedIn’s professional networking platform on Thursday, November 21, marking a new chapter in his journey. In his debut post titled “Starting a New Chapter – Bringing My Journey to LinkedIn,” Dhawan expressed excitement about engaging with professionals beyond the entertainment industry.

Sharing His Story

“Hello everyone,” wrote the 37-year-old actor in his first post. “I’m excited to join the LinkedIn community! As someone working in the film industry for over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of learning a lot about the importance of hard work, teamwork, and constantly evolving.”

In his bio, Dhawan described himself as an “Actor, Investor, Assistant Director,” reflecting his multifaceted involvement in the entertainment world. Known for hits like Student of the Year, Badlapur, and Bhediya, he emphasized his journey of balancing creativity with audience impact.

Insights on Creativity and Leadership

Dhawan shared his aspiration to use the platform to exchange insights on creativity, leadership, and lessons learned from collaborating with directors, producers, and co-actors. “What excites me most about being here is the opportunity to connect with professionals from all industries – not just entertainment,” he wrote.

His LinkedIn bio also highlighted his achievements in Bollywood, including leading films that grossed Rs 300 crore and exploring content-driven cinema.

Dhawan’s interest in connecting with a diverse audience was evident as he mentioned his desire to learn from other industries and share behind-the-scenes glimpses of his work. “If there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s that there’s always something new to learn, no matter where you are in your career. Thanks for welcoming me to this amazing community!” he added.

The actor’s move to LinkedIn was met with excitement from fans and professionals alike. One user commented, “Welcome to LinkedIn, Varun Sir! Thrilled to see you joining the community,” while another quipped, “I hope you are not planning to leave Bollywood and join the corporate world anytime soon.”

While some speculate that Dhawan’s LinkedIn debut could be part of a promotional activity for an upcoming project, no confirmation has been made. Meanwhile, the actor is gearing up for his next big-screen release, Baby John. The film, a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Theri, is slated to release in theatres on December 25.
