“There Were No Police On The First Floor”: Allu Arjun’s Lawyer After Sandhya Theatre Stampede

Actor Allu Arjun’s arrest has ignited a storm on the internet, with fans, celebrities, and politicians rallying in support of the star. The Telangana High Court recently granted interim bail to Allu, who was arrested in connection with the tragic death of a female fan during the premiere of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre.

A statement by Allu’s lawyer, MP S. Niranjan Reddy, has since gone viral. In a video shared by Allu Arjun’s fans on X (formerly Twitter), Niranjan remarked, “The remand report says that after the lady and her son fell and cried, the police came down from the first floor to the ground floor, which means there were no police on the first floor. They also wanted to see Allu Arjun.” His comment reportedly drew laughter in the courtroom.

Allu Arjun in Custody After Tragic Fan Incident

Shortly after actor Allu Arjun was granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court, fans flooded social media with the hashtag #WeStandWithAlluArjun, showing their unwavering support.

In the latest developments, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ director Sukumar, along with Rana Daggubati, Allu’s uncle Pawan Kalyan, and Chiranjeevi, visited the actor’s Hyderabad residence to stand by his family during this challenging time.

Following his arrest, Allu’s Pushpa 2 co-star Rashmika Mandanna expressed her anguish on X (formerly Twitter), writing: “I can’t believe what I am seeing right now. The incident that happened was an unfortunate and deeply saddening event. However, it is disheartening to see everything being blamed on a single individual. This situation is both unbelievable and heartbreaking.”

Meanwhile, Pushpa 2 continues to dominate the box office, surpassing Rs 1,000 crore in global earnings within the past week.
