Tamannaah Bhatia attended the Maha Kumbh Mela for the teaser launch of her upcoming Telugu film Odela 2, directed by Ashok Teja. In this supernatural thriller, she plays the role of Naga Saadhu Shiva Shakti.

‘Being At Maha Kumbh Feels Unreal’

Speaking at the event, Tamannaah described the Maha Kumbh Mela as a once-in-a-lifetime experience. “Odela 2 is a very personal film for me, and being here at this historical place is unreal. I also consider being part of this film as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” she shared. She added that the film would reveal an unexplored side that audiences haven’t seen before.

Odela 2 Started As A Small Idea: Tamannaah

The actress revealed that Odela 2 initially started with a small idea but eventually grew into a major project. “Producer Madhu garu’s support has been invaluable. I am lucky to be part of the film, and hope that the filmmakers also mint money along with virtue. We would never have the same level of happiness had we had done the teaser launch elsewhere. Being devotees, we couldn’t have asked for any better than launching our Odela 2 teaser at Maha Kumbh Mela,” she said.

Tamannaah also praised director Ashok Teja, calling him a strong pillar of support for the film. She commended his precise execution and storytelling skills. Expressing her excitement about the film’s music, she added, “When I heard that composer Ajaneesh was part of the film, I thought it’s a great choice because music is like a character in the film and as important as the lead characters. It’s going to be the soul of the film.”
